Ingredients

cup Muir Glen™ organic fire roasted crushed tomatoes (from 14.5-oz can)

tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves

1

lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

1

teaspoon Italian seasoning

8

slices fresh mozzarella cheese

8

mini burger buns (about 2 1/2 inches in diameter), split

Preparation

Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, toss tomatoes and basil; cover and refrigerate.

In medium bowl, mix ground beef and Italian seasoning. Shape into 8 equal patties.

Place patties in grill basket; place on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F.

Place patties on bottom halves of buns. Top each with slice of cheese and spoonful of tomato mixture. Cover with top halves of buns.
