cups Original Bisquick™ mix

cup granulated sugar

teaspoons ground cinnamon

cup chunky applesauce

cup milk

cup vegetable oil

tablespoons Original Bisquick™ mix

cup packed brown sugar

tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 12 regular-size muffin cups with cooking spray.
In large bowl, stir together 4 cups Bisquick mix, 1/2 cup of the granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of the cinnamon; make well in center of mixture. In small bowl, mix applesauce, milk, oil and eggs; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups, filling almost full.
In small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons Bisquick mix, remaining 1/4 cup granulated sugar, remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and the brown sugar. Stir in butter until well blended. Sprinkle evenly over batter.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and tops are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Serve warm, if desired.
